The Anglican church in Canada is reaching for new lows in its attempt to kneel before the modern world. It has decided to offer blessings of transgender transitions. If that wasn’t low enough, an entire custom liturgy has been invented, so that those who have decided to pretend to be the opposite sex can be celebrated publicly in the midst of an attempt at worshipping God. How one can claim to worship God at the same event where he denies the inherent nature of one of His children and encourages the mutilation thereof is beyond my understanding. That’s an incongruent act, unless it’s a different god that they’re worshipping.

Exactly, because in a post-religious, materialist society where we are either monkeys or machines, everyone and everything is just matter, and if everything is matter, nothing matters. When our value as individuals has been suppressed, it can manifest in unhealthy ways.

Thanks for pointing out the hypocrisy of those involved.They are changing established doctrine to suit their needs. They are indeed starting a new religious movement. Worship of abomination.
The woman chose jeans and sneakers before approaching the altar to take the microphone. That already speaks volumes about the level of seriousness, or their reverence towards God.
Oh my word. Tucker Carlson was SO right about the Episcopalians. I actually considered it an option during the Catholic Church’s peak scandal days. What was I even thinking? There were Anglican churches in this city demanding vaccine proof during the worst moments of Covid hysteria. Oh well. They will vanish into history and it will be much deserved.
Woman have a vital role to play in the church but its not up the front teaching with their heads covered or not.
1 Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
1 Corinthians 14:35If they wish to inquire about something, they are to ask their own husbands at home; for it is dishonorable for a woman to speak in the church.
You don't have to like it but its in the book if your a christian suck it up.
What I struggle to understand is how a person or organization comes to these conclusions. What causes a person to come to believe that sex hormones, or worse, genital mutilation is an appropriate treatment for a mental state that is vaguely defined and only recently observed?
How does one's thinking become so clouded that the obvious absurdity becomes invisible? Worse yet, how could this thinking become mainstream in society?
If people can be convinced that this abomination is good, what evil is there that they cannot also be convinced is good?
It is pure evil to teach extremely impressionable children that they can choose their own gender, and in fact ENCOURAGE them to do so. I pray for this evil activity to come to a halt.

HOW is this in line with the bible? See THIS is why Christianity is failing world wide, they keep re writing their book to suit their current needs. The Christians make fun of the Muslims saying, they are living in the dark ages, they are where we were 600 years ago. YES THEY ARE, because they are NOT changing the word of their god to suit their whims, AS GOD COMMANDED THEM NOT TO DO !!!
There's a saying that goes sort of, im trying to keep this pg, if you slurp a small one now, you'll slurp a bigger one later. The church is lost and a cleansing by fire is going to be finding them very soon if they are not careful!

IMO organized religion is one of the worst enemies to personal liberty and freedom of thought.
