A bill was recently passed by the U.S. House of Representatives that redefines marriage in the eyes of the government. Appallingly, it was one of the more bipartisan bills in recent years, with 47 Republicans joining every Democrat to redefine marriage from being between a man and woman to being between two spouses of any sex. Sixty-six Catholic members of the House affirmed the vote.
The problem with organized religion is that it is just another gang. Doesn't matter which sect or denomination. We have a Creation; therefore, we have a Creator. On the other hand, churches are earthly hierarchies for politicians.

The first being that a true marriage must occur in a church and not "on a beach". I see no reason why a marriage ceremony before God cannot happen in a beautiful setting that is the work of His hands. And second, that marriage 'domesticates man's aggressiveness'. While this seems logical and might reflect reality to a degree, I think it does malign men, and (as far as I can recall) is not Biblical.
Sadly for those engaged in homosexual lifestyles; being allowed to "marry" will not change the inner struggle as they try to find peace/joy outside the parameters God has set for fulfilled mankind.
It does not surprise me that the politicians would pass such a bill because many of their bills are titled with the opposite of their real intent. Too many marriages today are bound together until I meet somebody better or richer. Your definition of a real marriage deeply saddens me because I am too old to marry you. The government desires to redefine marriage so that soon they can claim as per Hillary that it takes a village to raise a child not two parents. They are trying to take the parents out of it already and this bill is just one more step towards that goal. This is why they call upon the FBI to put parents in jail for challenging the school board. Any man who marries you will be richer than Buffet, Bezos and Gates combined because he will have gold.
as the world strays from God and justifies its progress, those of us who stand and remain in Christ are becoming visible to the world, and viewed as haters, evil, and actions of labeling and arresting is happening (bigots, homophobes, arrest of Kim Davis, targeting politicians who are pro life, etc..) and lead to imprisonment, beheadings happened under President Obama by ISIS. As we stand for Christ, we will have persecution for not transforming, they will label Gods children, behead, burn as witches, etc.. This cleansing of the true followers of Christ has happened at least a few times historically by the Roman Empire. We must stand strong and rely on Christ to strengthen us.
